What is HB? Half Back?
BYU is much more disciplined than they used to be plus the dirty play may be a thing of the past. Because of this, I think they will remaine composed which will allow them to hang around with us in the beginning.
Being better coached will certainly not win them the game, we’re just better and deeper in every position, but…[Read more]

Oh that jumped out at me in spades! Also the comment about looking scared. Plus what you posted in another thread, one of those links had some comments about USC being soft had me jumping up and down with delight. BUT … they own us! We’ve got to hand them a stiff, hard loss like Alabama did then I’d feel comfortable openly criticizing them.

don’t fall victim to the law of averages. If you flip a coin 6 times and it comes up heads every time it does not change the odds of the next flip.

Thanks for posting. I’d love to bathe in the crumbling of USC but we’ve only beaten them once so I’ll keep quiet. Seeing and reading this type of stuff just makes our losses to them more painful. We need to hand them a solid loss this year. I’m tired of being owned by USC.

89ute replied to the topic Joe Williams is a liability in the forum Football 8 years, 2 months ago
Maybe, maybe not. Jacquizz Rodgers carried the rock approximately 21 times a game for three years at OSU. He is smaller that Troy McCormick but a few pounds heavier.
I remember “scouting” OSU the week before we beat them at RES. OSU played USC and Rodgers gashed USC up the middle all night long. OSU upset USC, it was a huge win for…[Read more]

This is a tough pick. Is Boise pretty solid like they usually are? I know nothing about them. I hate to pick against the Pirate and and experienced QB.

I think that was Helton’s first game after Sark got canned. SC re-grouped and rallied. It seems like they rallied around Ogeron when he took over too. I hope Helton does not get canned after the Stanford game or else we’ll be facing another SC rally.

Okay, so you didn’t cut it off at 60, it turns out that one of the teams probably got at least 1 vote to be in the top 25 but the actual ranking was 60, right?

USC is a hot mess and probably is going to get a lot hotter if they lose to Stanford and us. Off field issues before the season started, the nut stomp and getting embarrassed by Alabama screams of undisciplined, poor coaching. Oh, and JuJu leaving practice yesterday, what’s up with that?

I’m going to parrot what Coach Whitt said during the coaches show. Bill Riley ask what stat, other than turnovers is the next most important. His answer was keeping the opponent under 100 yards rushing.
So there it is, win the turnover battle and hold them to less than 100 rushing yards. I think it can be done based on what everyone has posted above.

Throw out what you think and feel about the teams and go by what you saw. For example, I doubt USC is the worst team in the Pac, but they were beaten 52-6 like a lowly FCS/G5 against Alabama.
1. Stanford
2. Washington
3. Colorado
4. Utah
5. Oregon
6. Cal
7. ASU
8. UCLA
9. Arizona
10. Oregon St.
11. Washington St.
12. USCHere’s how I looked…[Read more]
