I am trying to find something, anything, from a statistical standpoint that points to a Utah victory.
All I can come up with is that UW has played a terrible schedule, the Utes will be the best team they have faced by a long shot, it is a road game, and all the pressure is on them.
Their PAC opponents are 3-14 in conference play.
Their OCC consists of Rutgers (who is 2-6 and lost to Ohio State and Michigan 58-0 and 78-0 in consecutive weeks), Idaho, and Portland State (who got their asses kicked by San Jose and Southern Utah).
Bottom line is this will be the toughest game UW has played. If they flinch they could be in for a long day. If they don’t then I’m with a lot of you in that it could be a blow out or a bare fisted brawl.
