OC doesn’t fix bad position coaching, but here’s to any semblance of improvement next year.

Nope. Watching Oregon UW. Have zero interest in big Xii games.

Sometimes a team has to fail in order too succeed, but the obvious mishandling of players, mismanagement of the game would have me asking some serious questions.

Personally, Whitt would get another season, but with an extremely short leash. By game 3 if there isn’t a noticeable difference there’d be a change.

If the new OC hire wants his own position coaches, is Whitt willing to fire Harding, Ganther, or Freddie? Or is the OC search only those willing to come and work with the existing crew that just so happened to put up 31 rushing Yds vs Colorado?
Scalley needs to start fresh and overhaul the offense.

I think Whitt lost the team when he allowed Barnes to play the bowl game after he’d already entered the transfer portal.

OC got himself fired. You can’t go into a season with championship expectations and bench the better talent because you made a promise.

Questioning retirement, after firing your longest tenured OC mid season and having zero answers a week after the season ends is a glaring problem.

Utah requires a mobile QB to make plays with his legs. I think most QB injuries occurred behind the LOS though, so maybe it’s more of a personnel and coaching issue than a field, or equipment problem.

Maybe reply to an already existing thread on the topic?🤷‍♂️ Having new threads on the same subject with the same points being restated only gets about half the conversation anyway.
Yes, Whitt sucks at offense and choosing QB’s. He takes experience over talent even to the detriment of the team.
