BYU being BYU. Being in the Big 12 is not pleasant and being in the Big 12 with them is like having dirty hair all the time. Even while being in the PAC as fun as that was, you knew the pestilence was always nearby.

Boo away is my feeling. Being financially and emotionally involved gives you the right to be frank in the discussion. Sports by nature are not polite. If you want polite go to the symphony or the ballet.

I just saw that 3 star QB Darian Mensah got a 8 million dollar deal from Duke for the next two seasons. What is happening?!?!

There’s the B1G, there’s the SEC and there is Notre Dame. Then you have the rest wishing on a star. Some will still make it into the big boy club but most will not. The days of yore are nearing the end for better or worse but the divide is clear to see. College sports brave new world.

When I heard that the Ute’s hired a TDS guy to run the offense, I was less than thrilled but the guy has a clean slate to work with and why bring back someone who helped poison the well in the first place. I’m more willing to give Beck a chance to right “our” ship than Wilson being the deliverer.

Hate is a pretty strong word. I don’t much care for the B12 today or even previously. Born and raised in the upper midwest never much caring about the South West Conference or any of the Big iterations that followed. True in the yesterday and true today. It might seem a novelty to some here on the Wasatch but it really is as bland as oatmeal for breakfast.

Too bad Tulane lost today. I was really hoping the B12 was going to get skunked with the committee.
