For those in the know, it will be cheaper to stay outside of Pasadena, what are some of the nicer\safer areas to stay.
Also, will parking be available for the Bowl game and if so, how steep will the price be? -

pedro started the topic 22 in the forum Football 3 years ago
Jordan Wynn just tweeted that Utah in the Rose Bowl in ’22. Unbelievable.
But then when you look at the other times this year that number came into play…. Covey’s PR for a TD two weeks ago was caught on the 22 for example, hard not to believe we were playing 13 vs 11.
Special. I’ve never cried at a football game until this year where I…[Read more] -
pedro started the topic After re-watching the game on tape, as opposed to live, a couple of thoughts in the forum Football 4 years ago
First, on TV it didn’t look as bad as it felt live. It still was bad though.
2nd, I counted at least 25 Freshman and Sophmores that played, most a fair amount. This does not include special teams.
Many of those young guys made mistakes, but they also showed signs of greatness. I’m excited to see these guys get better each…[Read more] -

First, it isn’t as simple as you a lot of people are saying. San Diego did not pressure Cam like they did Brewer. They basically backed off and dared us to beat them. 2nd, Our O-line really hasn’t been as bad as everyone has made them out to be, until tonight. 3rd, Our DL plays very uninspired STILL. They picked it up in the 2nd half, but…[Read more]

pedro started the topic I haven't read the board, but here is my take on a disappointing effort in the forum Football 4 years ago
First, we were outcoached. Kalani’s OC and DC owned Scally and Ludwig
My chief complaint on Lugwig during his first stance here was his inability to account for 1st down pressure. This showed again tonight. He couldn’t adjust. A tight end sweep, WR bubble screen, end around all could have lessened the pressure BYU was getting yet we did…[Read more] -

My son played keeper in HS and was offered over 20 scholys coming out. I only say that to point out that I’ve watch a lot of amateur soccer games in my life and paid particular attention to the defensive side of the game for obvious reasons. Having said that, I do not claim to be a soccer expert, thus my question……
I normally don’t like to…[Read more] -
pedro started the topic After seeing the spring game, there is only one things that I'm concerned with in the forum Football 4 years ago
The kick game.
Punts were shallow and he seemed to take a long time getting them off.
2 FG attempts both missed.
Someone fill me in as to why I shouldn’t be concerned.
Otherwise, looking at the little things, this was the best spring games I’ve seen to date and I’ve been attending forwever. I’m…[Read more] -

I just don’t get it. WTH are these kids thinking. To date, I just don’t see any of them ending up in better places or positions to make it to the next level.
Sad to see him go, but even sadder because I think it’ll be a decision he quickly regrets and one that will affect his life.
Go Utes! -

the contribution of Enis. No he wasn’t targetted much this game, but the blocking that guy laid out today was special. He was a beast.

Remember Z. Moss’ freshman year, 4th and goal last play of the game and he runs straight into the back of his lineman instead of waiting for the hole to develop. He later commented that he should have been Patient. He is now one of the most paitent backs out there.
Good RB’s understand this patience. Our RB’s have not yet figured this out,…[Read more] -
pedro started the topic I for one will enjoy this year regardless of what happens in the forum Football 4 years ago
First, they actually get to play, even if it’s just a few games
Second, I have zero aspirations of a conference championship due to our youth
Third, I will enjoy immensly watching the young guys develope and grow
Look forward to these guys kicking some A along the way to a seriously good year in 2 or 3. -

I believe that would be considered the greatest comeback ever! Personally I love the guy, but he’s nuts. -

Earlier today I just watched the replay of the ’13 Utah OSU OT game. T Wilson was a gamer. He made mistakes and his arm mechanics were not good. But that guy balled out for the Utes. I will always respect him for that.

61 in P5 conferences (if I counted correctly). Only 10 of those got to play in their conference championship. Only 5 won.
In other words, Utah finished in the top 16%.
We all know what could’ve been and IMHO what should’ve been. But to sit here and endlessly complain about one aspect of what our coaching staff responsabilities is…[Read more] -
