pedro replied to the topic I don’t feel bad for Cam in the forum Football 1 month, 1 week ago
I didn’t suggest any of those things. I simply said that if he had known then what he knows now about his injuries, I bet he would’ve taken the ability to play over pay

I think you’re missing a huge part of all this. Athletes have trained and competed their entire lives. That is what they live for. I bet, if asked, Cam would give up his entire NIL package to have played the last few years. Because of that, I feel bad for him and any player who loses the opportunity to play their game.

pedro replied to the topic Unfortunate trend continues in the forum Football 1 month, 1 week ago
Sorry Ghost, there are so many things that go into a winning program beyond coaching or, as you pointed out, QB play.
* Team Work
* Captainsleadership
* Mojo
* Injuries to key players (If you don’t think losing O’toole, Reid and Cam hurt, your insane. Also if you think Barton is as good as he was, he isn’t…. yet)
* Momentum

pedro replied to the topic Kuithe usage in the forum Football 1 month, 1 week ago
I like the thought, but Kuithe has looked slow and out of shape thus far this season.
-
pedro replied to the topic Sad in the forum Football 1 month, 1 week ago
Let’s be honest, Cam, Reid and O’toole have been basically ‘gone’ this entire season. I would argue Kuithe has been half gone as well. Bernard, Fillinger and Singer, we will miss.

pedro replied to the topic What can be fixed within a week that’d make a real difference? in the forum Football 1 month, 1 week ago
I’ve said it since he came back, but Lud is NOT the answer. Other than he and the QB situation, it all can be fixed.
Tackling, discipline, hunger, intelligence. All of it. But until Lud starts thinking outside of his own box, it won’t matter.

pedro started the topic Team Chemistry in the forum Football 1 month, 1 week ago
This team, for whatever reason, lacks chemistry. However that is just part of the problem.
I’m a Whit apologist and I’ve never back away from being such. But tonight (all year), we saw:
A safety who after 5 games still hasn’t learned to tackle. Seriously dude, you have two arms, use them. A 180 lb safety hitting a 220 RB is NOT going to cause…[Read more]

I noticed that after the 2nd and 3rd goals tonight the camera turned to him and he was staring at his phone. Hockey fan? No! Saw a financial opportunity to make bank? Yes!

You’re the one saying that you are dejected, do not care and is losing your fandom, not me.
Per dictionary.com: A fair weather fan is a sports fan who only supports a team when they are winning and loses interest when they are losing.
It’s one thing to be frustrated, it’s only to “lose fandom”. That’s a choice you made.

pedro replied to the topic we deserve better in the forum Football 1 month, 2 weeks ago
How so. Exactly why do you “deserve” anything from Whit or this team? Seriously? They are, as ruled by the courts, entertainment. And, as is the case with all entertainment, you may or may not like what you see just like w movies.
Reality is we don’t “deserve” anything short of a place to sit in correspondence for the money we spent on the…[Read more]

pedro replied to the topic Whitt's presser notes in the forum Football 1 month, 2 weeks ago
It’s really not that big of a stretch to think that maybe his injury was deeper or worse than it initially seemed. I had a thing once where after 3 weeks of testing, someone thought to do an xray to reveal I simply had a broken rib. Just sayin

I’m not blaming anyone. Simply sharing what you see when you watch the film. The O sucked and I’ve been accusing Lud for years of being too predictable and not putting his players in a position to win. I’m not going to write a damn novel everytime I make a point to cover every possible thing.

At DE Fano is who I was referring to and yes he is only a Sophomore. Watch the film and watch him over play and lose contain again and again.
At LB we had Hall and Fotu, both Sophomores. Again, watch the film and you will see them bite on counters and play action a LOT.
Not dishing these guys, just stating what you see when you watch the…[Read more]

Reality is if you review the film from the ‘Zona game, our youth on Defense got exploited big time. Out young DE, young LB’s and CB’s were often out of position and biting on misdirections or fakes.
Our O, well let’s just say all of those calling for Isaac to start the rest of the year in front of Cam should now see why that isn’t the case.…[Read more]

Most of the in state talent isn’t all that great. The Fano brothers are great. Who else do we have on the roster that is lighting things up? The great in state talent almost always leave Utah. Always have, always will. The great ones we get, I’m grateful for. But this isn’t a trend. In fact, you take away the last three years, and Utah has…[Read more]

I don’t like telling people how to fan, but I’m simply going to point out that this is exactly what Y fans were saying about LaVell that forced him out before he was ready.
20 years of mediocrity later, the MAY be getting better.
I’m good with Whit as long as he wants to stay. People should be calling coordinators out. Very poor defense,…[Read more]

Not that it matters, but I thought his play calling in Philly was suspect. But we all have opinions and Lord knows what that mean 🙂
