Not trying to be a tool, but a lot of my feelings are based on what I have seen and keep hearing. Having said that, it would not be appropriate to say anymore. I hope I’m wrong and will be happy to admit it if I am.
I will share this… when we were courting the PAC, Dr Hill, K Whit and Pres Young were heavily involved. AND they were more…[Read more]

I had a columnist from the UCF area message me about this exact thing. It sounds like Utah is in a good position right now, but there is a lot, A LOT, that needs to be worked out.
FWIW, I have zero faith our current leadership can get it done. Whit will need to play a prominent role, even more than he did for the PAC 12 invite.

There is a place in a Kansas City suburb that is amazing for fried chicken, etc.. but it’s small and I want it to stay that way for when we visit there for FB games, sorry.
BUT, Jack Stack BBQ in KC is pretty good for a regional chain. Their Jalapeno corn bread serves as a great compliment to their burnt ends. Beats any BBQ I’ve had here by a…[Read more]

Didn’t Coach Smith recruit Tavion and Keita (not to mention kept BC on board)?
Utah fans, most of which haven’t been to the Hunty in years, act like we deserve better. It’s easy to point to the loses the program has had, but easier to forget about the wins.
Fact is, as long as we aren’t support it, we have no room to talk.

I’m going to go with what I think was the 1990 game against Minnesota. They drove down the field running the clock out. I believe the score was tied (or we were down 1) and they were setting up for a last second FG. Kick was blocked and one of the DBs ran it back for the walk off TD.
To me, that was when the players started to believe McBride c…[Read more]

He played on a team that made the tourny, why wouldn’t we take him?

I think you are dead on. I know we haven’t been to a game since Smith got here, until this year. They are progressing and we fans need to show for them IMHO. It’s pretty sad, when last weeks first round game, I yell “take it at him Brandon” and the whole arena looked right at me. (FTR, he did and he scored).
I view this as voting for…[Read more]

It our first post season appearance in a while, so you should care. Everyone claims they don’t see progress, well, this is progress.

I’ve argued for years we should just annex Mexico, but I may have a personal bias on that subject. 🙂

When I first started at the U, we weren’t good. Fassel was the coach and football was the furthest thing from my mind while attending that 1st quarter (spring qtr). On a day much like today, cold and drizzly, I was walking from the car to class with my roommate and noticed on the north endzone scoreboard (that you could see from S Campus drive)…[Read more]

Given the number of witnesses, there should have never been a plea bargain. Inexcusable in my book.

The refs in the women’s games this year have been nothing short of amazing…… ly bad at their jobs. Honestly, I’ve seen better in church games.

Good catch. Their description is EXACTLY why Whit has my dedication. Does he makes mistakes? Yes! But they guy gets it, he gets the kids (better than they do themselves), he gets the system, he gets winning.

I’ve never seen this before, but saw it on X. Very good listen. Very long, gets really good just past the 20 minute mark. https://youtu.be/-bv_T-7Y7Ow?si=I1ABBif9bauJRayV
