Good on him. Takes pride even when the program may not be worthy of it.

Some dude last year did some comparisons on X and it showed that in all of the PAC12 and Big12, Utah was 3rd in highest charge per game (tickets and club fees combined). I didn’t check his work, but the few I looked at indicated he was probably accurate. Which, if all we are comparing against are Oregon and SC, I get it. But reality is we are in a lessor conference (FB wise) and our average wage is lower than 25 states and our cost of living is also 25th.

Seems like a bad combination to me. It should be noted that in the time Harlan has taken over, our FB program has made record profits, but the department as a hole is now losing money. Is this the trend everywhere or just here?

I get it, trust me. I think the demand side is giving out this year based on what the early indicators are saying.

The reality was though, these players were all seen as role players at the time, including Miller. This season made many of their NBA careers possible. I wish more players understood how important ‘role’ players played on a team.

Ditto. Played a lot of ball with Bobby at the old Deseret Gym during his off seasons. Good man gone too soon.

I hope you let Harlan know. BTW, cleaning out some old documents earlier today, My tickets in W 14 have gone up 300% since 2015. The bulk of that since 2018 when Harlan took command

All I’m saying is prove it or let it die.

Beck and Dampier have both said that the nice thing about this offense is they can adjust it to the strengths of the team. Beck said that very early on.

It’s a tired notion that Whit controls the O. No one with any credibility has stated that.

I think the counterpoint to yours is simple, the staff, and most of us fans, want the best talent on the field as much as possible. If you have a special player like a Weddle (who wasn’t the best player ever until they moved him around), Vaki, etc.. and can solidify plays they excel at, why wouldn’t you?

Beck stated earlier this week that with the TE’s on hand, the offense will adjust to utilize them.
