I think Calhoun’s desire to get more $ just landed him in a tough spot as I’m not sure he did enough to get more elsewhere and the door is quickly closing to come back here.
There’s a moral to that story somewhere that we should all ponder.
But, just the same, I would love for him to land a spot back here.

Summary:
He was really good in practice but not so much on game day
Teammates saw this right away and thought that Rose should be the back up
Ludwig stuck with him despite other players coming to Lud with concerns
IW then proved them right on the field and apparently in the “locker room” as well
After he was pulled in the Houston game, he immediately started talking about transferring (This part I know to be true)My take, it sounds like he might have been the cancer that affected this team so badly. But, it could be a simple case of someone getting all the pub and other players not liking it. But I don’t buy that this explains all of it especially when we are talking about good eggs like MB
My second take, this is why Lud resigned. Wouldn’t been really hard to justify playing IW over Rose given how much better Rose looked. But this is conjecture.

Has nothing to do with morals, beliefs, etc..
It’s 100% about big pharma. Do the research. Pharma couldn’t make money off of it and planted these ideas (morals) into our minds. It’s similar to the concept that fat is bad for you. We all still believe that even though research suggest otherwise.

Bronco wanted him and knew at that point he was going to USU (were working out details), but Utah made a much larger offer. It was a no brainer.

Proud, you’re a better man than to post drivel in this way.
Fact is he interviewed knowing the situation and was seriously contemplating it. OU is closer to home, gives him a higher profile, same salary and additional incentive cash. But let’s not let facts stand in our narratives way.

Good theory except for Wilson has said that Lud played a huge role in his recruitment and members of the offense said that wilson was clearly Lud’s guy despite what they saw.

Reality is Whit is working with a limited amount of funds. You see our AD was busy trying to increase our revenue in dimes from our fans, when he should have been working the philanthropist for dollars. Now we’re scrambling to make up our loses and it won’t happen this year, or even next. To be frank, may not happen until we get a new AD and\or president

It’s a tired thought that Whit haters like to hang on to. “I hope Whit let’s him run his offense” just tells me how people don’t know jack s**t about the program. I literally had a guy at the last home game say this, then complain that Whit, and I quote, “played over 280 rounds of golf this summer” when he should have been recruiting. No matter what he does, he will be blamed, maybe it should be so since he is the HC, but the s**t people come up with to blame him is ridiculous. Complain if you don’t like him, fine. But don’t keep running with the same old tired stories and have been disproven time and again.
