Sorry I was mistaken on capacity, I couldn’t remember what Baylor’s new stadium was. But I know it’s what Utah is looking to model after. Baylor’s new stadium has a capacity of 7,500. Sucks for sports like Gymnastics where we sell out all the time. But for basketball and the lack of interest from fans 7,500 would be a packed house almost every…[Read more]

  • I had heard from somewhere that they were looking at possibly building a new arena on campus to the East of RES. Then creating some sort plaza between the two. They would model the new arena after Baylors new arena which actually looks really nice for only a 11,000 or so seats. I would totally love that. New amenities, bathrooms, suites, high end…[Read more]

I still stand by that fact that on paper Utah is the more talented team in almost every category. Have they performed that way? No, a big hell no. But the talent is there. If these negative voices have been kicked to the curb and these guys come out fired up we have a chance. Our Defense is ranked top 15 nationally, our defense will keep us in it.…[Read more]

The athletic departments have started to hire GM’s for the teams to basically do this stuff already.
The teams can’t directly get involved with getting kids NIL money but they can get money from boosters to go into the NIL.
However I believe next year in April the lawsuit will be finalized where colleges will be able to pay players directly and…[Read more]

I think the first throw or two were shaking off the rust. I think after he went down awkwardly on that tackle that that caused the lack of being able to throw. He couldn’t plant off his back foot, like at all. Couldn’t escape pressure. Isaac should have been put in at that point.

  • Yeah in most of my life I usually have low expectations because you are then never too upset.

I guess I just fell into the media hype, the Dr.Pepper hype train commercial really hits hard right now. haha.

  • Thanks for the dictionary reference. I guess my Utah degree didn’t teach me that.
Here’s something you can look up in the dictionary, “obtuse”

Losing fandom because of how things are being handled by the coaching staff. As a paying season ticket holder, NIL donor, fan who travels to 2-3 away games every year I feel I have a right to complain…[Read more]

  • Exactly how I feel about the whole situation.

  • Lol, fair weather fan? GTFO with that nonsense. I’ve been a fan for 38 years, born and raised a Ute. Went to school there, met my wife there, worked with the team for a few years. I have a dedicated basement with memorabilia of Utah athletics. So get out of here with that bs.
I have spent thousands and thousands of dollars, time, etc., with Utah…[Read more]

  • Yeah I love Cam, he has given his heart and sole to this team and love that he stayed to have what could have been a huge year for him and the program. I wish Cam would have thrown the ball away sooner, kneeled down, slid, anything besides putting himself in that position to be shoved into the gatorade cooler. I feel for him, he was excited for…[Read more]

  • I don’t know about you guys but i’m honestly starting to lose my fandom. I’ve been a die hard Ute my entire life, worked with the team, I have an entire basement man-cave dedicated to Utah Utes. But as the 2023 season wore on and the idea of Rising being a game time decision for 6 straight weeks after what could have been a special season I…[Read more]

Well I do know that my wife’s boss is one of the NIL donors that donated for Cam to come back, I think their donation was over 1 million specifically for Cam.

  • It’s funny to see the differences in opinions here. I actually didn’t mind the weather. Was it hot? Absolutely, but I didn’t think it was much different from early season games here in SLC. My wife and I prepped with hydration, significant amount of water the day before and during the game. Also drank a gatorade just before walking into the…[Read more]

  • Phatmanandy replied to the topic Away Tickets Ok St in the forum Football 6 months ago

Awesome! Thank you so much for the information, this will help us immensely. I’m excited for the passionate fan bases that the BIG12 offers, excited to see some new, undiscovered cities that I probably would never have thought to visit otherwise. Plus I’m hoping for a great game (Utah Win) But some good olde smashmouth football.

I think you will have a pretty good contingent of Ute fans at this game. We tend to travel pretty well and with this being a potential top 15 match up, first year in the Big 12, good matchup, etc.,

Wife and I are driving in from Tulsa, believe it’s about an hour. Is there any good options to park and walk to the stadium? or free shuttle to get…[Read more]

Not too far away, we snagged 239, row 11. I’m hoping there is a Ute fan tailgate or something prior to the game.

We are planning to stay in Tulsa and drive in

Wife and I have been planning this trip and the UCF in November.
The U has already sold out of their allotment and anything not purchased was returned back to OSU. With that said I usually look at what sections are the visiting team sections and hit the secondary market anyways. Usually better seats and prices. I think the U was selling them for…[Read more]
