This is our biggest win of the season. The win over the 8-2 Dolphins is our first win over a ranked opponent this season, and, moves Utah in to sole possession of 1st-place in the conference.

I can’t really report much on this game, as I was at work during the entirety of it, but I can at least give you all the heads up on the Utes scoring another big win.

…this afternoon in Detroit. It was our first “road” win of the season for us.

Utah follows up this roadie with a midweek match vs. a significantly tougher opponent in Air Force (5-3). Air Force beat #17 Denver 12-10 just one week after Utah had lost to them 4-12. So hopefully, we’ll be better prepared.

Utah gave up 5 goals in the 3rd-Qtr, allowing the Knights to start the 4th-Qtr with a 9-8 lead.  After trading scores in the 4th, Bellarmine scored again, to take an 11-10 lead with only 48-sec remaining in the game.

Utah’s 18-8 win over Robert Morris today put us solidly in control of the conference race.  In the ASUN Lacrosse Preseason poll, AFA and RMU were projected to be our biggest challengers to win the conference, and having already beaten them both, the ASUN title is all but ours.
