…to beat Vermont in Montpelier in M-Lacrosse!  After leading 10-5 early in the 4th-Qtr, #17 UVM mounts a major comeback to tie it up.  But with just 88-sec remaining in the game, Utah finds the back of the net to go up 11-10, and then held on for the win.

While all losses are disappointing, this one still reflected both a great effort by Utah, and a glimpse into the progress this program has been making over the past few years.  Recruiting is up, and elite programs like Denver have been taking notice.

Last week, Sagarin ranked the tdS’ SOS #112.  Then they played no one last week…

We beat them last year too, but I’m noticing a HUGE difference between this year’s team and last year’s.  Our improvement at X is night and day.  We won 18 faceoffs today.  I would be surprised if we’d won that many in all of last season combined!
