Good thing Arizona didn’t have to play Montana St!

I thought that Whittingham’s 2011 Sun Bowl victory over Ga Tech was a bigger win than our Emerald Bowl victory over them 6-yrs earlier. But I believe the #10 spot should have been our 2008 come from behind victory over Oregon St.

Other than that, I can’t disagree.

You want 15 sacks? Really? That’s nearly a full season of sacks in 1 game. If we’re getting even a quarter of that number, it’d be time to pull the 1st and 2nd strings off the field.

Agreed. If like to see how those Utes who are changing positions are adapting to their newer assignments.

I prefer noon EST kickoffs, but I understand why folks in the MST and PST wouldn’t.

During my time as a student on the hill, my favorite kickoff times were about 3pm — a “day” game, with an “evening” conclusion, then back to the Sigma Nu house for a postgame party.

Yet another reason for Utah to stop scheduling FCS teams — and especially before November.

I’m stoked! Although I know I’d be more excited if…

(1) We’d stop scheduling weak SOS FCS games. Or at least follow the SEC’s model of playing them in November, to serve as a virtual bye week, to help give our banged up 2-deep a break.

I’ll be staying in Tulsa the night before the game as well. My brother lives there. My dad will be flying in as well, so we’ll all be driving into Stillwater the day of the have as well.

You are NOT the only one. I LOVED those lids. Although, I’d have preferred they weren’t painted to be dirty. I want the shiny silver domes….with the red interlocking U’s.

UCF’s recruiting is what worries me. 2 yrs in a row! At this pace, they should be a force in the Big 12 as soon as next year. And seeing as how we’ll be getting them at the end of the year, they should be a more “veteran” team by then — assuming injury attrition doesn’t get ’em first.

TCU ran the 3-3-5 D back when we were in the MWC. They discontinued it, and moved to a 5-2 because it didn’t work against us.

We beat them in at the Big House in 2008 and 2014. And our only loss there was 3-pt setback, back in 2002 — a season we’d finished 5-6, and Michigan closed out 10-3 and ranked in the Top-10.

I’d say we’ve held our own in loud venues.

Wish we had a “Booker” on our team.

The heat/humidity will only be a factor in Stillwater. But it won’t be as bad there as it was last year in Waco.

The next “hot” game we’ll play won’t be until mid-October, when we head on down to Tempe. But we’d have done that anyway in the Pac-12.
