I have a brother who works as a chiropractor in Tulsa. I believe that puts him only about an hour away from Stillwater. Workload permitting, I might make a trip out for a game at Boone Pickens.

Last year, Utah was picked to come in 3rd in the Pac-12. And then Rising and Kuithe couldn’t play, and Rose lacerated a kidney right before the season started, dooming us to our 3rd & 4th string QBs. And then Yassmin got injured. And then Bernard got injured. And so and so forth.
In the end, we didn’t finish as high as 3rd.

It’s f-ugly, and while I doubt something like this could become a tourist attraction, locals should be concerned about if it could, what kind of tourists would it attract, and are they the sort that they’d want to bring in. After all, Utah already has enough challenges as it is dealing with their “weirdo” reputation nation wide.

Beaver Stadium is already top notch. I’ve attended many games there over the years.

I’d take Urban Meyer in a heart beat, and consider ourselves LUCKY that he’d decide to return. I don’t see Meyer’s presence on the hill diminishing Scalley’s qualifications to take the job.

Correct you are Utah. What really rubbed me wrong with those two schools was, whenever a Pac-12 team lost to an FCS school, it was mostly them.

Don’t count out the ACC. If FSU and Clemson leave, there’s potential for Cal & Stanford advocating for some western teams to backfill their departures. And with the Big 12 already at 16, I’m not sure those 2 remaining Pac-12 teams would add enough value to a league who’d already been watered down enough by adding a quartet of weak SOS midmajors.

We’re getting crushed in recruiting in comparison to UCF. Looks like last year wasn’t an anomaly.

Looking at the current eligible playing field, I wouldn’t be surprised to see Utah get relegated to the “play-in” game (vs Sacred Heart) — with the winner going on to face the #1 team in the country: Notre Dame…..of the ACC.

We’ll beat Sacred Heart. But a 1st-Rd tournament rematch vs. defending national champion/#1-ranked Notre Dame is not ideal.
