Wilson is a true freshman. It’s not reasonable to expect that we’d be in the Big 12 race with a true freshman QB. It’s too soon to cut him.

To be fair, they were coming off a bye week, so they had more time to prepare.

Since it hadn’t already been mentioned yet, Bernard is currently 6th in the nation in yards rushing this season. He’s only 1-yd behind #5 Kyle Monangai (Rutgers), and 6-yds behind #4 Ja’Quinden Jackson (Arkansas).

With or without Florida St, Clemson, and Miami, short of a BigTen invite, I would have much preferred the ACC. And especially if we could have taken Colorado and Arizona St with us. If those aforementioned hopeful defectors were to stay, all the better.

As a former student at ybu-p, I’d personally witnessed a ton of “superiority” comments from the student body. Here are a few.

1. “BYU is the Harvard of the West.”

2. “The only reason why people go to Utah, is because they were rejected by BYU.”. They also claim that’s why Utah fans hate ybu-p.

Ordinarily, so would I. But seeing as how Arizona has had an extra week to prepare, I’m not expecting this week won’t come without an extra layer of complexity.

The OSU/UA 2-game stretch has all along been widely deemed our most difficult stretch of the season.

The point is, there’s no evidence that TSPP has “a much larger fan base” than Utah as you’d suggested.

There is some evidence to the contrary though.

Also wrecks their oft repeated claims that “nobody had even heard of Utah”.

That really does sum it all up.
