Looks like USC at Cal this week is postponed due to a COVID outbreak in Berkeley. I also saw a notice that “COVID cases are rising” at the U. Hope everyone stays healthy!!

I was going to comment that Shaw is overpaid based on results to date, but then again the cost of living around Palo Alto is so ridiculously high that might actually be in line.

One could argue the Utes are different team under Cam Rising than the first few games, though it doesn’t explain the 2nd half meltdown in Corvallis. Everything is Wacky in the Pac this year so anything can happen. A November swoon, a furious 4-0 run or losses at Stanford and Oregon at home (meh) to back door into the Pac-12 Championship game.

After reading all that Leach went through in Lubbock I don’t get a good vibe about the TTech administration. Maybe they were mostly butt hurt about losing to Texas, which didn’t seem so bad at the time, but looked worse after Texas got beat by Oklahoma in Dallas and (gasp) Oklahoma State in Austin.

Rain may not be as intense, but rain showers in gusty winds could limit the throw game. Winds south at 10 mph but usts of 25-30 from the southwest possible.
Hopefully Thomas and other RBs can hold on to the ball in chilly damp conditions.

After being left off the active roster last week, Zach had 8 carries for 26 yds and 2 TDs, and 2 catches for another 8 yards for the Bills today.
