After the Lobo’s win over Sam Houston State UNM Coach Bob Davie was whisked away to the hospital after he had experienced a serious health incident”; later it came out that he had experienced chest pains. Davie is 65 years old.

ISU ohfense features a big back, James Robinson, named to preaseason all-Missouri Valley Conference team. Will be interesting to see how well he fares against the Huskies if Utah is going to ride Zack Moss.

Yes, he faked the slide, took a couple more steps, then slid. If a player fakes the start of the slide they should either be whistled down right there or they should be fair game for hits anytime afterward.
