PlainsUte replied to the topic But why did Trevor Reilly resign? Money from the Saudis to Colorado? in the forum Football 7 months, 3 weeks ago
Trevor should of went to Nigeria and get some NIL $$ for CU from one of those Nigerian princes.
Everyone thought it odd that he resigned as fall camp was just starting, but if his primary job was arranging NIL stuff, his job was done for the season at that point. -

I jinxed them and they allowed one goal last night, but won the game 2-1.

You’re saying KSL.com is not a TDS fan site?

PlainsUte replied to the topic Another B12 power ranking in the forum Football 8 months ago
Might also be factoring-in the drubbing the Utes took at the hands of the Wildcats last year. Personally I don’t think that the Utes will let that happen again, especially in RES. I’m more concerned about road trips, OkState primarily, and then UCF.

PlainsUte replied to the topic The cope from Shedeur Sanders in the forum Football 9 months ago
Over-under on how many Big-12 teams will win “their Super Bowl” vs CU this year? Would be a great poll question. My guess: 6.5
I have to admit Deion and Shedeur have me looking at CU’s schedule and caring about their outcomes, otherwise I wouldn’t give a flip.

PlainsUte replied to the topic Does the Big 12 have a sleeping giant? in the forum Football 9 months ago
Wouldn’t call them a sleeping giant, but I’m expecting Kansas may surprise a few teams this year. A perennial doormat in football they now have a good coach in Liepold with several years of team building (he’s been there since ’21). They surprised some teams last year, definitely on an uptrend, but still a bit under the radar.

PlainsUte replied to the topic Darius Afalava 3* OL (in-state) committed to Oklahoma in the forum Football 9 months, 2 weeks ago
SEC vs Big-12?
As a 3-star will he break onto the roster at Oklahoma with their in-state and Texas recruits?
Might seem him again in the portal. -
PlainsUte replied to the topic Utah football and BYU basketball. in the forum Football 9 months, 2 weeks ago
Bingo, TSPP as a “basketball power” is all based on hype and off-season bravado, two things at which the zoobs excel. After all, how many spring football championships have they won? Show me you can make some noise in the NCAA tournament and then talk.

PlainsUte replied to the topic Statue of Responsibility??? in the forum Misc 10 months, 3 weeks ago
To underscore my point, Eiffel Tower, St Louis Arch, Statue of Liberty — for all of these visitors can go up them.
For something tall just to look at from the ground I’d rather look at the mountains, hoodoos in Bryce, cliff faces at Cedar Breaks, etc. -
PlainsUte replied to the topic Statue of Responsibility??? in the forum Misc 10 months, 3 weeks ago
Meh. It needs an elevator up the middle and a restaurant on top; being Utah it could serve Jello and Caffeine Free Cokes. Then you’d have a proper tourist attraction.

Thanks for the info, I had not even thought to check if the Utes and SC (the other one) had met before.
As you said the Utes seemed to have grown quite a bit during the season, so hope the outcome is different even if the Utes have to play in SC’s backyard.GO UTES!!

Utah’s quest to return to OKC for the Women’s Softball Finals starts in Durham, NC. Duke (overall 10-seed) is hosting and the Utes will start by playing South Carolina.
