Can we get this entire thread removed. This is not appropriate for this site and it smells like a Troll.

It’s that certain je ne sais quoi of the cultural hall, old ward basketball game anger and pent up hormones of nineteen year olds, that enhances the funeral potatoes. Probably the paper plate has something to do with it as well.

A Venture Capitalist offered me very sage advice early in my career.  When managing people, he said, figure out what single metric defines success and judge them by that.  For Larry it is wins and resulting post season appearances, and by my reckoning, he has failed.  You really don’t need to get into the mechanisms behind the failure, just look at the primary goal.  Larry competes on a level playing field – Utah has amazing facilities, we are members of a major sports conference, the fans are accomodating.  There is no systemic issues keeping the Utes from being a top 20 basketball program.

So, using this methodology, your question of “Which players…..” is too granular.  Players coming or going doesn’t matter.  Larry is responsible for winning games.  Let’s judge him against his peers based on that.

The “Regular Season Champs” designation is new this year for gymnastics and comes with a snazzy metallic blue trophy.  Red Rocks are almost all under class performers and what looked like a rebuilding year has turned out to probably be the one of the best seasons in the last few years.  Red Rocks at 10-0 with two home meets left.  PAC12 Championship are at the Maverick Center, which positions the Red Rocks to potentially sweep.

Gymnastics, the antidote to MBB at the U of U.

I have been lurking on Ute Hub for years, but never registered because I don’t have much to add – not an expert on the technical aspects of sports, but a loyal Ute Fan.  I registered today to comment on this post.

I don’t know why this board doesn’t boot Pace off.  Everywhere you go there are doors to keep out undesireables, including social media.  Why would a church let the Westboro Baptist people hang around in the back with megaphones and signs that say “Pray for more dead soldiers”?  It interferes with the primary task of the church and distracts from the all the positive aspects of why people go to church.  The doors on the church keep out the Westboro people because we are free to associate with people who we want and limit who we don’t want.

If I was Tony (and thanks Tony for putting this board together), I would send Pace packing.  I simply don’t know why he is tolerated.  I don’t believe there is a fairness doctrine that says you have to allow a**hats the right to give everyone the middle finger.

Lastly, I cannot seem to figure out how to block people.  Not intuitive.

The Japanese have had “star trek” toilet seats for decades.  Effectively cleans the front or the back.  You control the spray, the temperature and the water force.  Wash head oscillates. Air drying with a nice warm wind. Sooooo civilized.

I keep going back and forth on Apocalypse versus inconvenience.  The link below will give you stats from each affected country.  I don’t trust the Chinese numbers and have seen lots of experts say that the US will track closer to what Italy is experiencing, which right now is a near vertical growth curve.  We will all know in 30 days.  My 91 yo Mother-in-law is dead if she contracts it, but at her age some life ending event is just around the corner…..

Oklahoma and LSU have kind of risen about the crowd the last few years, but I have always felt that there is a bit of score inflation the further South and East you go.  So maybe someone from the PAC12 could catch them in the finals.  UCLA might have done again this year with their senior laden squad.

While I viewed the Red Rocks as “middle of the road” before the season, I am full of respect at the end of their perfect season.  Give them a couple of years and they might be a viable candidate to hang a couple more national champ banners in the Hunty.

Thank you. I went back to the help page and the second part of the instructions mentions the three dots.
