Did you see the tidbit about how republicans have made it so that legislative committees no longer need to have any sort of balanced representation? Maybe I should link pat Bagley’s cartoon and the article here for you.
You say republicans voted to pass it, if they don’t no one would vote.

You saying supposed gerrymandering tells me either you don’t live here, haven’t been paying…[Read more]

I am enraged that the extraction industry now has a wish list of shills in office to benefit them. I didn’t include it in this post because I merely wanted to wish Yellowstone a happy birthday and thank those responsible

If the fight against the drug cartels is that important to you doesn’t it seem thst the way to defeat them is to eliminate their customer base? Ie treatment for addicts rather then minimum mandatory sentences? America’s war on drugs is A an abysmal failure and B grossly misnamed

PorterRockwell replied to the topic Gotta admit I was surprised by Trump's speech tonight. in the forum Politics 8 years, 1 month ago
I agree re it not being any different than what the GOP did however at some point someone has to reach across the aisle Seems like a missed opportunity there? I don’t know who wrote Trump’s speech or if it was from the heart but tonight’s version of him was more palatable than past versions

To Trump’s speech. Guy is well spoken. I don’t know if he wrote the speech or someone else but is solid. He quoted Reagan, identified some of Trump’s weaknesses i.e. Belittling people etc.
really well done.
