On offense: Bernard, Singer, and Kuithe. I am happy that Wilson keeps this team going. If you had told me that Cam would not even play one complete half yet and we were 4-0 – I would have been shocked.

On Defense: Fillinger, Tafuna, and Tao Johnson. Fillinger is having his best season yet.

Yeah, my last post was when George HW Bush died. I posted that I may not have agreed with everything his did, but that he was a good man. I was attacked as if I promoted pedophilia or something awful. I have not posted there since.

I will only say – I hope Cam is ready and will play. If he doesn’t play, I hope Wilson can get it done. I suspect we will see our offense be much like yesterday (if Cam does not play). We will try to keep the ball away form their offensive weapons.

Obviously, no one here has any inside knowledge on Cam.

It may not have always been pretty. But this win is huge considering:

– We were playing without our stud QB and possibly our best defensive player.

– We played in 100+ degree weather.

– We beat a team on the road that is ranked 14th and that rarely loses on the road.

– We had three turnovers.

There are all kinds of tweets this morning including Bartle and Thamel saying Rising is a game-time decision. If this is really true, the coaches must think that Cam’s finger injury makes him possibly less effective than Wilson.

It started at -3.5 for Ok State. It then got as high as -2.5 for Utah. Then, on Wednesday it went to -2.5 for OSU in a matter of minutes. Then today, it was back to Utah -2 and it sits now at -1 for Utah.

Take it for what it’s worth. Everything I hear suggests that Cam will be starting this Saturday. Will he be 100%. No one knows. But, I am happy to hear Cam will be our leader on the field.

On the Defense – I hear Redi will not be playing. This hurts. I think he is a difference maker. But, it is what it is.

You are right that fans worrying about something they cannot control is fruitless. But, we are fans… I know what you say is true. It just isn’t always easy to feel that way.

OnlyU says Cam is playing – that’s the best source I know.

When Whitt was talking on the weekly radio show, he just talked like Cam would be playing. He wasn’t asked and he didn’t specifically say that Cam was good-to-go. However, when talking about the game plan, etc. it sounded to me like Cam was the guy. I am quite sure Cam will be starting.
