I hope we do what Notre Dame did after their loss last week to a G5 team. Sometimes the best thing that can happen to you in sports is to pull out a win when you played ugly. It serves as a wake-up call. I hope this is the case for Scalley and the D. Also, we need Reid back BIG-time!!!

I agree. He was amazing with his check-downs. He threw high early on, but settled down. He now has gained some confidence.

Yes, Stanley has some drops. But, that does NOT excuse that defensive effort.

That defense will get destroyed next Saturday unless some significant changes are made.

We can see if they improve but that effort for the first 20 minutes was terrible and so was the effort in the second half last week. They are nowhere near the best Oline in Whitt’s tenure.

You are very optimistic about Utah football. Probably more so than any other Ute fan I know. Good for you. I hope you are right!!!

The interesting thing is that Ollie Gordon is yet to have a good game this season. They have become passing team.

I like their passing game a lot. They put up a lot of yards last season, but had too many turnovers. They have seemed to clean it up. I get that they are only playing Tulsa, but Tulsa is not terrible.

If he was thinking of retiring – I think he would let Scalley make the final push. But, I admit that I don’t know anything.

I really want to see Isaac gain confidence. Playing with confidence is so important in sports. A guy who plays with confidence (not cocky) is going to play much better than someone who is worried how he will play.

Since Whitt is recruiting Jerome Myles personally – I’m guessing that he is not planning to retire at the end of this season.

I don’t disagree, but that’s not Whitt’s style. He knows with his defense and a 17 point lead, if the offense does not give up the ball – he Utes will win.
