I wish Wilson looked better, but he is 18, and they did not allow him to do much. Whitt just wanted to hold on for the win, which they did. If he starts against USU next week, I think you will see a different guy. Oh, and Baylor’s D showed a lot of new stuff knowing they were going against a true freshman.

I say it’s way too early to judge Isaac yet.

It was an ugly game for sure. BYU has no offense, but I think their D looked good. But, is it because SMU has no offense? I don’t know anything for sure.

I like the change because it adds more strategy to the kickoff returns. But, it’s new, so I might change my mind after I have had a better chance to see it in action.

Good question. I honestly don’t have a clue. But, from what I heard from my son who is a big time Utah fan – is that many Ute fans on X often cross the line.

I don’t do X, but a couple of my sons do. From what I hear, there are some very ugly posts on there from Ute fans. It really ticks me off because I know most Ute fans are not that way.

My favorite part is when they tell Kuithe that he set a BIg 12 record for 3 TD receptions by a tight end and he said, “Because I’m the oldest.”

I get our point spread. But, SMU looked terrible against a bad Nevada team a week ago. I think the BYU / SMU game will be close.

I don’t think we are in trouble, but Arizona will score on us. We need to outscore them and I think we can with our offense and their weak defense.

But, Whitt said they will also signal in plays because the D does to huddle, and they like to signal in plays at the last second. The mic is turned off with 15 seconds on the play clock.

They may be formidable but they didn’t look it today. Gordon averaged a mediocre 3.9 yards per carry. They only ran for 127 yards which is below average. However their passing game was very good today.

It was apparently posted on X last night. CB picked it up. But, the odd thing is that there is no news release from BYU. Nothing on any of the local news networks. Nothing in the local papers. I wonder if this is just a rumor that spread.

If Hill indeed suffered a heart attack, my thoughts and prayers are with him. He is a very good man.
