I support a Utah – KState championship game. They do not play in the regular season, so it could be a fun game. It would be very fun if both were undefeated. However, I doubt the likelihood of that happening.

Of course, our first game on Thursday is at night. The next two games are day games. Then, the two Friday games will be at night, including a late game at UCF.

Dallen Engemann, former Timpview QB and JUCO out of California, will be coming to Utah. I assume that he will be a PWO, but I don’t have the details. So, we get one more guy in theQB room.
I doubt that he will see action, but I like the idea of having another QB on the team.

You need to throw out the Texas game because we had key players not playing that game on defense and the offense was terrible that night. I am not sure that we had our heads in that game because of the implosion against the Ducks.

And I don’t think it is even close. I heard the other day that 12 players on our 2-deep played in the NFL. That’s amazing. We had three all-conference defensive linemen. Think about that. There are four defensive linemen, and there are 12 teams. That is just crazy.

I would prefer the BIG to the Big 12 for obvious reasons. That would be great. However, I would really prefer that the PAC 12 had not imploded. I don’t like the travel to the east coast. It will be costly for our “Olympic” sports teams.

I like these guys, but they are definitely wearing crimson goggles. These guys say that this is the best Utah football team ever. I hope that will be true, but as of today – I don’t think so. 2004, 2008, 2019, and 2021 will be tough to beat.

In 2021, we had Rising throwing to three excellent tight ends. We often played three tight end sets in 2021. This season we have three stud tight ends again in Kuithe, King, and Lyons. Aloha, good analysis. I agree. UCF will be tough considering it is a cross-country game on a short week.
As of today – I think Utah would be favored in all 12 games. Do I expect them to win all 12? No. I don’t think we are so good, that we won’t stumble along the way, especially if we experience key injuries.

Did you know that only one 5-star high school QB ever led his team to a Superbowl championship? One would probably guess Payton Manning, John Elway, etc. But, it is Stafford.

They did not deserve to be left out in the dark. I just looked at their football schedules for 2024. Both teams have MWC schedules without being part of the conference.
I am happy that Utah landed on its feet. But WSU and OSU deserved better IMO.
