However, none of the comparitive scoring looks good for Utah. Baylor is 2-4 and not beaten anyone of note. Utah State is terrible and gave us a game. Ok State is really bad and they have lost three in a row. Arizona lost at home to a lowly Texas Tech. (How did we lose that game???)

For some stupid reason, I let this Arizona loss bother me much more than it logically should. I really can’t explain it, and it does not make sense.

Why? I think we all know why. It’s the last year and a half of our QB situation. It’s hard to be too sympathetic simply because we don’t know what in the heck is going on. If I knew Cam was out for the season and would not play – I would be 100% supportive of Isaac Wilson, and I would lower my expectations.

I was so mad on Saturday night because
– We were outcoached (big time)
– We were outplayed
– We were out-hustled
– Our red zone offense was PATHETIC
– We could not stop the run (very unusual)
– We dropped lots of passes
– The refs would not call a pass interference

I have to admit that BYU appears to have a great defense thanks to Jay Hill. Baylor will have a difficult time scoring, Could be a low-scoring game.

Maybe Wittingham should now refer to BYU as “that other team.” CB already hates Whitt because he won’t call them BYU.

And there was a PI on the last play. The Miami defender shoved the VT receiver while the ball was in the air. But, they rarely make that call on Hail Mary passes.

I know some of you are so optimistic that you believe Utah can now cruise to 12-0. I am not in that same boat. I think it is possible to go 12-0, but going undefeated is not easy, and I suspect we will fail at least once along the way.

I don’t know a thing. And I am not sure the coaches know. Last week’s decision was made 20 minutes before kickoff. So, they will look at how Cam throws and determine if he gives them the best chance to win. I hope Ried is back sooner than later, but I really don’t know. The sad part about all local radio today, is that they do not know anything more than any of us. Back in the day, they could go to practice, and they had a feel for how the team looked, who would play. etc. Not today.

OC spends the first 30 minutes of every show talking Utah football. I think he does a good (not great) job. BYU is 4-0 and unfortunately deserves some discussion.

We don’t know as much as I would have thought. They have only played three games. Two of those games were against cupcakes. They struggled with Northern Arizona, and they let New Mexico score a ton of points. The score of their game against KState was a 31-7 loss. However, the score is a bit misleading.
