I loved our offense in the 1st half. We were creative and produced better than we had all season.
UW’s coaches made adjustments at the half and increased the pressure on Barnes.
I love what Vaki can do. He is so fast and is strong as well. I personally think he should be playing more on offense, but that’s just my opinion.

Wilson ended up with 550 total yards yesterday including 122 rushing yards. He will play a better defense next week against Skyridge. But, I don’t see Skyridge stopping Wilson and the Warriors. Remember that Isaac Wilson and CC scored 42 points against the second-rated HS team in the country.

Isaac Wilson threw for 293 yards and ran for 101 yards in the first half of the 6A semi-final game this afternoon. CC is so far ahead that he will probably not be able to rack up many more stats in the second half.

Mike Newlin is one of my all-time favorites. He also had a very good NBA career. He was a remarkable free-throw shooter.

I remember going with my dad to watch Utah basketball at the Einar Nielsen Fieldhouse. The last season was the 1968/1969 season. The Special Events Center (now Huntsman Center) opened in 1969.

I remember watching Jerry Chambers, Tate, Jackson, and McKay play there in the final four season of 65-66. I have fond memories of those days.

I believe the constant transfers made it most difficult for me. It is hard when the team is 75% different every year. This was before the portal Coach K had a hard time keeping his best players. I am honestly just not that interested in college basketball anymore.

I admit that the women’s team is fun to watch.

Great response by players and coaches on Saturday. Great game plan and execution of the plan.

Big challenge on the road this week. We can’t just play well, we need to play great and we need to be prepared.

I would pick Penix, Ewers, and Nix before Williams. IMO, guys like him can hurt a team. Williams has the talent for sure. But he seems to be about Williams first and the team second.

The Huskies have figured out how to win all five games. But, it shows they are vulnerable. They gave up 33 points to Stanford for heaven’s sake. (They could have easily lost to ASU and Oregon.)

I am sure that you are right. I doubt the donors negotiate directly with the coaching staff. But, they, like all of us were led to believe that these two would play this season.

1280 on Friday. I am only the messenger. I don’t know if it is a big deal or not. But, it would not surprise me if one or more donors are not pleased.

However, as a friend of mine said yesterday – Ute fans are big still supporters of Rising and Kuithe and the donors are still getting their money’s worth.

I heard that some donors feel that they were duped on the Rising/Kuithe situation. They were told that these guys would play this season and the rest is history. (I don’t think anyone is blaming the players.)

You are probably right about Geogia. I think that Oregon is the best team in the PAC12 right now and if they play UW again in Vegas, I think they win by double digits.
