I would pick Penix, Ewers, and Nix before Williams. IMO, guys like him can hurt a team. Williams has the talent for sure. But he seems to be about Williams first and the team second.

The Huskies have figured out how to win all five games. But, it shows they are vulnerable. They gave up 33 points to Stanford for heaven’s sake. (They could have easily lost to ASU and Oregon.)

I am sure that you are right. I doubt the donors negotiate directly with the coaching staff. But, they, like all of us were led to believe that these two would play this season.

1280 on Friday. I am only the messenger. I don’t know if it is a big deal or not. But, it would not surprise me if one or more donors are not pleased.

However, as a friend of mine said yesterday – Ute fans are big still supporters of Rising and Kuithe and the donors are still getting their money’s worth.

I heard that some donors feel that they were duped on the Rising/Kuithe situation. They were told that these guys would play this season and the rest is history. (I don’t think anyone is blaming the players.)

You are probably right about Geogia. I think that Oregon is the best team in the PAC12 right now and if they play UW again in Vegas, I think they win by double digits.

UW has an amazing pass offense. Our weakness seems to be pass defense. We can only be successful IMO if we pressure Penix and force some mistakes.

On offense, I am nervous because of Jackson’s injury. If he plays, will he be at full strength? Apparently, Vaki has been banged up.

It is BYU’s first season playing in a P5 conference. They don’t have the depth yet. Sitake will be given a chance to recruit and develop the team. He won’t be dismissed for a few years. As bad as they looked (and they looked very bad) they are still 5-4 and could become bowl-eligible against Iowa State.

I am not trying to suggest that it is going to happen, but here is what would get us in the championship game.

USC beats UW
Utah wins out including at UW
Oregon wins out including USC and OSU

If these things happen, we would go back to Vegas. The only problem is that we would play Oregon again.

We dominated the entire game on both sides of the ball. The special teams had some issues, but great game!!!

My game grades:

Defense – A+ (84 total yards allowed. Wow!!!)
Offense – A
Special Teams – C-
Overall – A

He can put on weight in the NFL, but I think he gets drafted higher if he is a bit bigger and stronger. In the end, I think he makes more money by waiting a year. But, that’s just me. Regardless, I support Elliss whatever he decides is best for him.

I think Johan Elliss still needs to put on some weight and gain some strength. He is small by NFL standards.

I believe you may be right on Bishop. If he has a good NIL deal, he may stay.

Looking at the numbers, I am worried about the game with ASU tomorrow. ASU has played well the last few weeks and has not played terribly since the loss to Fresno State earlier in the season. I think if Johnson wants a college and possible pro career, he needs to change positions. It seems to me that he would have the greatest chance of success at WR.

It seems obvious now that they will not play Rose this season because he can get a medical redshirt if he doesn’t play He already took his normal redshirt year last season. It makes more sense to me now. We are just going to try and get by the remainder of the season with Barnes and or Johnson.
