We cannot fall way behind to USC as we did in SLC and Vegas and expect to come back. We had Rising, Kincaid, and Bernard. I do not expect Rising to play Saturday and even if he does I suspect a lot of rust. That being said, I believe our defense is much better than we were a year ago.

Scalley will not take Ried and Barton out of the game. Scalley will likely come up with his own special D for this game. But he will not take out two of his best defenders out IMO. I suppose in some situations – he will play 6 DBs. Scalley will also not likely rush three players on a regular basis. He may do it some, but we are a four-down lineman D.

I don’t think it is a good idea to tell anyone else how they should feel as a fan.

I too hope the Utes (as a team) can get past these last few weeks and bounce back.

The biggest recruiting miss was OJ Simpson. Forget about his life post-NFL. He was one of the greatest college running backs ever. He visited Utah after JC but USC came in last minute and swooped him away.

Maybe if he had played at Utah, his later life would have been different.

I agree. We need at least three good drives with scores. Hopefully, our D will add one more.

Our depth charts this season are virtually meaningless. I bet at least 8 of the players on the two-deep do not play this Saturday. I am not sure why we even submit a depth chart.

I agree that this is a frustrating season. All of the games have been weird. Thankfully, we have a very good defense which has led us to a 4-1 season. Some, suggest that we should all be happy that we are 4-1. It’s all about the ineptness we see on offense. The OSU game was the final straw.

I think that everyone is getting a little upset because of our pathetic offensive effort. We (me included) all need to settle down and realize that it’s just football. Be happy that you are not living in Israel right now.

The bad news about all of this – is that other teams (when recruiting) are saying that Whitt handled this terribly and are suggesting that he really does not care about his players.
