The good:

We beat a P5 team in terrible conditions on the road.
Our running D continues to look solid.
Bishop is a stud and so is Vaki.
Jackson had a very nice game.
Johnson led us to a huge comeback victory.
Mikley Matthews looks like he will be our go-to receiver in the future.

There were three bad calls/no calls that did not favor us (outside the questionable holding calls).

1. The worst was on the fumble return that was overturned – a Baylor coach ran onto the field during the return which had an effect on the return. Regardless if the call was overturned, there should have been a 15-yard penalty on the Baylor…[Read more]

What I know:

1. We will not win the PAC12 with the team as it is now constituted. In fact, we probably would not win more than 4-5 games. But, we may be very healthy by UCLA.

Defense – B+ We had a few boneheaded plays like the prevent D pass for 50 yards. But, in that heat – great job.

Offense – C+ At half I would have given them an F. The 4th quarter changed it to a C+. I give Jackson an A for his efforts. I give Johnson an A for the 4th quarter.
