There are all kinds of tweets this morning including Bartle and Thamel saying Rising is a game-time decision. If this is really true, the coaches must think that Cam’s finger injury makes him possibly less effective than Wilson.

It started at -3.5 for Ok State. It then got as high as -2.5 for Utah. Then, on Wednesday it went to -2.5 for OSU in a matter of minutes. Then today, it was back to Utah -2 and it sits now at -1 for Utah.

Take it for what it’s worth. Everything I hear suggests that Cam will be starting this Saturday. Will he be 100%. No one knows. But, I am happy to hear Cam will be our leader on the field.

On the Defense – I hear Redi will not be playing. This hurts. I think he is a difference maker. But, it is what it is.

You are right that fans worrying about something they cannot control is fruitless. But, we are fans… I know what you say is true. It just isn’t always easy to feel that way.

OnlyU says Cam is playing – that’s the best source I know.

Welcome, Ben and any other OK State fans. This game has been circled by most Utah fans as our toughest game of the season. Who knows what will happen with the conference teams as the season moves along. But, This is the game I have been most worried about.

When Whitt was talking on the weekly radio show, he just talked like Cam would be playing. He wasn’t asked and he didn’t specifically say that Cam was good-to-go. However, when talking about the game plan, etc. it sounded to me like Cam was the guy. I am quite sure Cam will be starting.

We did not start out ideally against USU. They were well-prepared and well-coached. Once we took control of the game – we never looked back.

Wilson made some amazing throws. He settled in as the game went on. The sideline throw to Money Parks was amazing. He put velocity on the throws he needed to.

I think we have the weapons to score a lot this Saturday, especially with Rising leading the way. We have a bunch of tight ends, 3-4 good wide receivers, and a good mix of running backs. I think we can mix things up and keep the Cowboys confused.

MFury, you bring up a good point. If we can run successfully against OSU, we may do it to take time off the clock. The best defense against a high-scoring team is to keep the ball out of their hands. I agree that it is tough to judge any team after only ones game against P4 talent. The odd thing is that you would think that they would run more in games like this. Going into the season, OSU had the leading rusher in the country in Ollie Gordon. So, you would think they are a running team. But, that has not been the case.

They have run 100 times for a meager 337 yards.

Utah had 19,000 fans in Gainsville in 2022. According to the local radio station – that was the largest number of opposing fans for a Florida game except FSU. Cb likes to say that Utah does not travel well. That’s a joke.

I think that Isaac has a huge upside. Johnson will have a year of playing under his belt next season. Hopefully, Isaac will have very limited action this year and will lack experience. If Fifita decides to come back next season – he will be the best QB in the league IMO.

Acording to the ESPN stats – Gordon ran 17 times for 41 yards. So, unless they have another Ollie Gordon on the team – Gordon played on Saturday.
