To make matters worse – I just heard that Whitt is not allowing Morgan to have the say he promised he would. Whitt is still in control and is letting everyone including Harlan know it. Harlan’s hands are tied.

I am very upset about this if it is indeed true.

IMO, it is time for him to move on. We need new blood on the offensive side of the ball. I may keep Whittingham for tight ends, but that’s it for me.

I love Whitt, but if I was an OC who believed in a fast-paced offense, I would not want to coach under Whitt.

The word on the street (I cannot say that I know this) is that Arbuckle was interested in coaching with Scalley and starting something new at Utah. However, he felt/learned that Whitt has decided to stay. So …

If Whitt is the head coach – he will never hire a coach who runs a fast-paced offense. He wants the offense to have long (time-consuming) drives that keeps his defense off the field. I hope when Scalley becomes the head coach that he will allow a faster-pace offense when it makes sense.

I don’t want Marion. He has been at 6 schools over the last 6 years. He doesn’t seem to sty anywhere.

Herman would not be bad, but after being a head coach at Texas – I can’t believe he will stay.

Vigen may be interesting.

There is one more they have been talking to. I am just not at liberty to say who that is until his season is over.

He has been a loyal Ute for a long time. He has played the backup role most of the time, but he hung in there. I hate that his last and most productive season was this disaster of a season. But, I am glad he was a Ute.

Boxer, I am with you. I liked what I saw. I suspect they chose not to play him this season because we had a lot of WRs and he could redshirt.

I hope Isaac does not choose to leave the program. We had a lot of problems not related to the QB. Our offensive line was simply not very good IMO. The play calling was not good, etc., etc.

I still think that Wilson has the chance to be very good IMO.

Unfortunately, I think Isaac goes into the portal in December. I had high hopes for the kid. This year was a mess. He was only supposed to play in a mop-up role. He was thrown into the fire much too soon.

Aloha, I truly respect your loyalty to Coach Whitt. My biggest issue with Whitt is that we had 6 games where we led or were within striking distance late into the 4th quarter. We lost ALL of these games. This is not acceptable in my book. This shows me that Whitt has lost this team and his ability to win games.
