Notes from the weekly Reid interview:

– He said the LB group looked good. Hall looked good.

Both teams have to play in the same weather, but I hate games where it is so crazy hot, especially on Field Turf.

This stadium is unique because it is laid out east/west instead of the normal north/south. If you are looking back west for the ball, it may be hard to see in a late afternoon game.

I predicted -3.5 on Saturday night. They typically give 3 points for the home team. So, I guess they are saying this is pretty much a toss-up. OnlyU says Cam is playing. As of today, this seems to be our toughest game on the schedule.

What do you guys think?

Whit knows Football as well as anyone. But, we only hear coach speak from him. So, we really never know too much about the team and the gameplan. (Normal foral coaches.) I was unhappy about the play of our D yesterday, but I am optimistic about what I saw from Isaac Wilson. What I liked most was how he checked down and found the open receiver. I was shocked by how bad our D played today. Also, Baylor only has about 100 total yards at half time against a bad AF team. So, I don’t think we can say we played great D against the Bears.

He had two in the first half, the shuttle pass to Kuithe, and the 4th-down TD pass. That makes 4. Maybe they aren’t counting the shuttle pass, but I am quite sure it was a forward pass.

My favorite was the pass to Lohner.

Good – I think we found a good backup QB.

Bad – That was the worst defensive effort in a very long time.

Keep in mind that this is USU under the Pig Farmer. How is USU beating us up so badly?
