BYU has 10,000 more seats than RES. They are saying that this leads to much more revenue for them. I am not so sure. I believe our ticket prices are much higher. Utah is listed with Tennessee and TAMU as the most underrated teams. I am not sure if this is true or not, but it is nice to get the recognition and publicity.

I agree with you. But, I think it is all about what they are seeing in camp. Which guy can read the defense better? Who gets confused with the defensive alignment and makes the wrong read?

I do not like this at all. I think we have seen what Barnes can do and it’s not enough IMO. I am frustrated that we cannot develop an incoming freshman QB. We have only had one QB in the last decade who came in here as a freshman who became a regular starter – Huntley. We have had a bunch of guys bail on the program.

I agree they love to make excuses. But, the Honor Code certainly affects their recruiting. But, they have no excuses when it comes to LDS recruits.

We have BYU and Baylor already on the schedule. You would assume that this will all get reworked, leaving us two open dates. Which schools will have openings? I am not so sure that our recruiting will take a big hit.
First – Texas is a hotbed of high school football players. We already do well in recruiting Texas. Being in the Big 12 should improve that.
