Rising looked bad. Why didn’t the coaches pull him?

I don’t agree but I get why you feel the way you do. I am nervous about tonight’s game. The team has not shown me anything that gives me great confidence. Some individual players like Singer, Kuithe and Bernard have looked good. But, the team as a whole – no so much.

The point of all of these posts is that many of us are suffering from Cam Rising PTSD. Most of us love Cam and what he has done for the Utes. But, the weekly wondering if he will play is tough to swallow. I believe that Isaac Wilson will be a stud once the game starts slowing down for him. He has the tools.

OnlyU was also mislead. His post implied that Cam would play aginst OSU. He was surprised the week after.

OnlyU is obviously close to the program and believed Cam would start against OSU. He was wrong based on the information he had.

I’m with you, Jim. I am so tired of this crap. We are not gaining any real advantage by keeping Cam’s status a secret. Whitt is a great coach, but his gamesmanship is out of hand.

Bleeds, I agree with everything you posted except about our defensive backs. Our safeties are doing a poor job of tackling and general run-game support.

I just heard from someone who is involved in the program that Cam’s cut was much deeper than originally thought. He has suffered excessive swelling. When he tries to throw, he has no accuracy. It doesn’t sound like the staff is optimistic about Cam playing this Friday.

What bugged me most was that Whitt explicitly said that the decision not to play Cam was made 20 minutes before the OSU game and that he could have played. Now, they are saying that it is the doctor’s decision. What has changed? They are also saying that it is wait and see for this Friday.
