Utah -21  That seems a bit high to me.  (I hope we win by 30+.)

I think the ranking is about right and as of this moment – I think BYU deserves its ranking.  They are playing hardnose football.
As for our Utes, we have some work to do.  However, I think we are further along than we were last year going into the SDSU game.

Kincaid had a great game.
Glover got PT and two TDs.
Jackson got into the game.
Outside of one boneheaded play, the D played great.
I am pleased that a lot of kids got to see some playing time.
I am not pleased that we came out sluggish in the 1st quarter.  However, they fixed that big time in the second quarter.

Who would have thought this ten years ago?  Now the two top-ranked football teams in the state are Skyridge and Lehi.  Both had big road wins against other top-five teams last night.

They say they have never seen an SEC team show as well as Utah did last night.
For those CB posters who say Utah doesn’t travel well, this shows how well our fans do travel.  We have had great showings at our three major bowl games too.  I believe this helps us in the conference realignment process.
 
 

There was pregame rain, but by game time the weather was perfect. The weather was not a factor. I hear that some Ute fans had a bad experience with Gator fans. Our group had no problems. My experience was positive. There were thousands of Utes there. I suspect at least 15k. The stadium was loudest I have ever been to.

The forecast for tonight in Gainesville shows lightning from 3:00 to 12:00.  I saw it last night and playing would not have been possible.  Would they cancel the game?  Estimates suggest that we have 10-15k fans here in Florida. 

As it has been here in Orlando tonight, the game may be postponed for hours. It has been terrible tonight here with a ton of lightning. The forecast for tomorrow night in Gainesville does not look promising.  I will be there regardless, but I will be surprised if there isn’t at least one delay. 

On our flight to Orlando there were over 50 Ute fans wearing Ute’s gear. We saw only one BYU fan. Utah is well represented here in Florida.
