The craziest thing about that is that cleaning up the HAZMAT in those rivers/streams/mountains will create a SHIT TON of high-paying jobs. So ironically allowing the mining companies to simply dump their waste (and theoretically save money/create new jobs) actually decreases the work opportunities for the people who live in those areas.

He was the Dean of the College of Engineering for a long time, and spent 14 years as Sr VP of Academic Affairs (essentially in charge of all students and all faculty).

Not that it really matters, but they were 12 points away from being 13-0 last year. Their biggest losses were by 3 points to UCLA and to WVU, with 1-pt losses to Utah and Boise State. (and they also won several games by only a few points, so this point is largely moot).
