I thought Coach K was supposed to be some kind of tough guy. What happened to all that Boot camp stuff our guys went through a year or so ago? When did he turn into such a pussy? The way you handle BYU is by continuing to beat them on the court.

This is Utefans talk – fun to ride your BYU buddy about, but no substance to it. Everyone knows BYU is much better off as an Independent than as a member of a dying G5 conference.

Unfortunately as 3 games have borne out so far, what switched on halfway through camp wasn’t TW or the other quarterbacks, it was the spin machine. I haven’t seen any demonstrable difference in the offense so far. Actually, without Clay this year, the offense is worse.

I get that we have a regular season schedule to be happy about, but our out-of-conference schedule really is horrendous. Unfortunately, I don’t see that changing in the future.

Every time a new board has started (UteZone, Utahby5, Utehub, etc) it has pulled a certain segment of posters away from Utefans.net that were looking for something different. Eventually, the only posters remaining will be the Beavis & Butthead types that are perfectly satisfied just to wallow in their own filth.

I just about lost it late Saturday night when Whittingham was trying to punch it in late against Fresno State, and someone went down onto Booker’s knee during a tackle. Why in the world was he in the game at that point? Can you imagine what would happen if he were to get injured there? Come on, Whit. Jeez.

I hesitate to suggest it, but someone ought to reach out to the Ute fans that have made their home on Cougarboard. There are some strong Ute posters that didn’t connect with Utefans.net for whatever reason but that I think could contribute well here.

RSL did pay for new turf about 6 years ago. The current surface had a 14-year warranty but is failing in half the time, similar to many other FieldTurf fields across the country. So FieldTurf is replacing this surface at a discount rather than continuing to repair it over the remaining life of the warranty.

I’m not surprised in the slightest. More than a year ago I had a sign-up problem with Utefans (you know that stupid message you get that says don’t click ‘Remember Me’ or something like that?). I couldn’t sign on and I couldn’t re-register. I tried emailing Webmonkey for months without any response whatsoever. Eventually I just had to give up.
