This argument is not complete with including how many teams we lost to that finished in the top 25. I would be curious to see that data. 

The “if the” game is a slippery slope. BYU is undefeated against Utah using the “if the” game. 

Actually past performance is the best predictor of future behavior if you’re talking about statistical models….

I heard Kyle was 6-16 against teams in the top 25 since joining the PAC. 

It’s not unreasonable to expect nine wins with the garbage OOC schedule that we have/will have for next few years. 3-0 coming into conference shedule. Go 6-3 in conference. I think that’s the logic chain most people follow who expect 9 wins.

These are my expectations for the program. It’s crazy to think we should expect more. 

Fulmer was a TITLE WINNING coach. Tenure isn’t the attribute to compare by itself. It’s tenure and success in conference. Far from a perfect example man…

This isn’t a good comparison at all. Fulmer had 3 division titles in the years you selected and also had a conference championship and national title under his belt at Tennessee. Whit is sub-500 in conference and isn’t close to digging himself out of that hole at this pace. 

Seriously though, what should our expectations be for Kyle? I think we should average 8 wins a year given then shit out of conference we have lined up. 

For those that think the best is yet to come with Kyle, what are those expectations? What should the fans expect as his ceiling?

Or below average, since at this point he is has a losing record all-time in power conference play, with no shows in a conference title game. Hammer, I’m using math. We didn’t win with the NFL guys either. Tell me what changes. Math shows Kyle is 27-35 in PAC play.

Why should we expect anything other than 5-4 or 6-3 at best in conference? Kyle said this team was deep and the most talented he’s had in the Pac and we’ve seen the same results. Sub-500 average in conference. Next year Oregon and Washington and USC all the other guys will be just as tough as usual. 

My thought: Kyle is good at managing our football program, but lousy at managing our football games.
