We should be content with our participation trophies. That’s the attitude that losers who accept defeat have. It makes them feel better about failure. God forbid a fan complain when their team loses. Especially when millionaire coaches make stupid decisions that cost the the team wins.

Right, this line is gonna kill it when Lowell, Mokofisi, and Fitts aren’t here next year….then what’s the excuse? The starters are all sophomores and juniors, so give them time? This line looks uninspired. There’s no fire on those boys’ faces this year. 

It’s not just Lowell. The whole defensive line plays soft with no heart and no urgency. This is what a Utah defense looks like with no athletic freaks like Pita and Nate harassing the QB. And where the hell is the nickel blitz all year? I’m all over the place…unlike the defense.

He will make a fine man. He’s just not a good enough football player for this level. 

I would agree if we had last year’s schedule.  

Chase could probably give Troy a run for his money if he went back to playing offense. 

Special teams hurt us tonight, and it’s clear for two games in a row that Alex is not a power conference player. Remember Wishnowski bailing him out two weeks ago too…

I hate to say one guy won or lost a game, but I’m pretty confident we roll up three more touchdowns if Huntley is the starter. Troy just isn’t the player we all hoped he was after watching the Adidas commercial two years ago. In fact, he kinda sucks. 

I was disappointed to see him act like a pouty brat out there. He was more interested in keeping his hands warm than anything else. 

I haven’t seen Kylie wreak havoc like he did before his injury. We had one sack created by blanket coverage and two from the blitz. And this was against an offense that we knew was going to be throwing the ball after halftime. 

Unfortunately, this is Troy’s job to lose during the season unless Huntley just goes off over the remainder of camp.  We have a senior incumbent that had a bum leg and flailing OC last season. They’ll give him the reins once more until he proves he can’t succeed. I have a feeling we’ll see Huntley for about 10 snaps a game until then. 

I re-watched the game and then again in Football in 60. We were dominated in the 2nd quarter, hands down. Every other quarter was competitive, although 1 long drive in the 3rd wore down our defense. I’m not nearly as pessimistic about the loss after re-watching.
