So how would you be feeling if we had got into the BIG? And would BYU be posting this kind of thing laughing about how we won’t ever see the playoffs? It’s a serious question because if we had gotten the invite we would have had to accept it because of the money and it would have been the biggest thing to ever happen to our program but we wou…[Read more]

It seems to me that he is fast when it comes to 40 times but it has t necessarily translates to football fast. Doesn’t outrun LB’s to the sideline.

Redblood replied to the topic Utah has only one senior on the starting defense in the forum Football 1 year, 2 months ago
A lot will depend on how Ritchie develops because our best player (Bishop) is a Junior but will definitely leave for the draft. He makes a huge impact overall.

Redblood replied to the topic Who do you watch Utah football games with? in the forum Football 1 year, 2 months ago
For me it’s more she has a hard time watching Ite games with me than the other way around. I pace, yell at the TV, I’m not at my best watching the Utes on TV.

They ran it early and Nate completed a pass. I was like, Nate will be tough to stop if he can hand off, keep (that is how he scored the long run against Florida, or pass (which he did on one play early. Then… they never ran the play again. I really don’t get it at all?!

Redblood replied to the topic We Can Still Win Without Cam in the forum Football 1 year, 3 months ago
All depends on whether we can stop the run. If we don’t, and we didn’t last year, there is O pressure on their young QB. If we do, it will be tough sledding for him.
Last year we got smoked on both lines of scrimmage, that can’t happen this year if we expect to win.

I agree but since we play Oregon at home if O had my choice I’d like to see CO beat USC at home.

You know more than all of us but Kyles’s countenance when talking about it this week didn’t seem as great as I imagine yours is while typing that!

Kyle mentioned that last week Barnes got all the 2nd string reps, I assume Nate got all of the 1st string. I know Cam has been practicing, which reps does he get? Does he take the 3rd strong reps?

Is Texas State FCS? They said UTSA was better than Baylor. Not sure how good that makes Weber.

Redblood replied to the topic (Mostly)Optimistic musings from today as… in the forum Football 1 year, 3 months ago
If neither are coming back to normal or will be tough sledding. Teams will get film on Nate and then we will see we’re still limited. And our schedule will just be too much.

Redblood replied to the topic Baylor in the forum Football 1 year, 3 months ago
We very well may be playing our 3rd string QB and RB and still be without Kuithe. I’m as far a way from saying it is a sure win as you can be. How many points do you think we will score?

Redblood replied to the topic Clemson at Duke in the forum Football 1 year, 3 months ago
That is why it is so hard to go undefeated when you play a lot of teams who are capable of beating you. Even 2 loss when the majority of your games are with teams capable. You have a really hard time in the redzone or have turnovers and you just get beat.

Redblood replied to the topic Blake Shapen Out Against Utah in the forum Football 1 year, 3 months ago
Will be interesting to see our red zone offense minus Cam. Really didn’t get much of a chance to see because we didn’t get there. The one possession was from the interception Vaki had. On that possession, Barnes ran in from 10 yds after having a lot of time in the pocket.
Kyle mentioned that the difference in Baylor Texas Stats was red zone sco…[Read more]

We used to struggle against that defense when in the MWC. Because we aren’t a big play team. I want to say New Mexico and BYU ran it and we performed worse against it. Hopefully we’ve figured it out.
