Seems like Toala is equal to Maea, but Umana will be tough to replace, no? Especially against a solid D like NIU.

From a talent and recruiting ranking standpoint, should Hawaii have beaten Arizona? That’s why. If it were just about talent we wouldn’t have to play the game.

Not only that but we need two additional guys to emerge as solid starters with Ford, Umana and Paulo just to round out a starting 5. Then a few more for depth.
If Harding pulls it off the ceiling is exceptionally high for this team with all the other talent we have. If not we’ll all be very disappointed. I guess that’s the fun thing about Col…[Read more]

Redblood replied to the topic whether a team lives up to it or not, hype is not real. Hype is just hype in the forum Football 5 years, 4 months ago
Whitlessham, everyone needs a little help to get to 10 wins. You’re acting like it should just happen and the only thing to prevent it is stupidity.
That attitude makes a little more sense for the team down south. We should respect the game more than that IMO.

What was it last year?

Redblood replied to the topic Zach Wilson & Moving on in the forum Football 5 years, 6 months ago
If you were at the game and attend regularly you would have noticed an earlier arriving and louder crowd to start the game.
I was disappointed because to me the goal was to win the PAC which makes each of those games more important. But they weren’t. Noise doesn’t lie and I don’t get it.

Trail – We finished the season prior to post season at 9-3 with all those shortcomings you say KW has. Do you think we will be worse than last year? If so, what do you base it on?
Last year we were all saying we were a year away in terms of talent, yet we won the South. Then we were we were worried the juniors would leave. None left. I don’t r…[Read more]

How can it wildly exceed your expectations and probably not get an NIT bid. What has happened to Utah basketball?

Avg. 27 in Conference. 7 vs. Ky, 13 vs. Ga, 14 vs. SC. 27 against Fla. and lit up the rest. I’m not stoked but I like it better than Harding… I think.

Yeah but do you think it’s a coincidence that AZ isn’t very good? May have something to do with how they have to recruit now?

Onlyu, as always your perspective is incredibly helpful. My big concern for 2019 is OL. Hard to see that group not regressing let alone improving. It’s also hard to smell Roses without a really good OL. What’s your take there?

If Moss, Anae and Fotu each come back I consider that 3 huge recruiting wins.

But if we want to be more than fine we need him back. Red Zone O is significantly worse without him.

Hoosier Ute, are you watching the game? He throws it better than anyone on our roster right now. With our QB situation, it’s a travesty that he’s not a Ute.

Could be tough sledding without arguably our 4 best players. Moss, Chase, Covey and Huntley.

Redblood replied to the topic Northwestern fans talk Utah in the forum Football 5 years, 11 months ago
If we were healthy I would agree, but that’s not a lot of respect for Northwestern considering we’ll be without Covey, Moss and maybe Huntley. They were probably 90% of our offense when all were healthy.
We have guys who can step up, but scoring enough to win by more than a TD will be tough sledding.
