Chunk plays were made against the D and it didn’t feel like a traditional Utah cement wall when you face a Utah defense. Granted Lotuleilei was injured but the Utah defense, from a fan perspective, felt very far from the stability factor in this game.

USC’s offense was better than our defense.

A lot of people seem to think that USC can perform just fine with all sorts of distractions due to their talent. Case in point our game with them last year. However, distractions are never a good thing and it’s very possible SC’s distractions off the field will translate to mistakes on the field. Agree with let’s see on Friday. Those big mistakes were made in games not critical to the success of the PAC12 season. They also give the coaching staff a lot to work with. We’ll see if he comes out polished or still making the mistakes. Personally, I agree with the sentiment that his ceiling is very high.

Loved seeing all three freshmen playing offense. Tyler Huntley isn’t getting mentions like Simpkins or Moss due to limited playing time but I think Huntley’s ceiling is very high.
