Harsh but not necessarily untrue either.

They act like transferring to Utah is legally misconduct. Harvey Longi switched colors to blue as well as others post mission. But somehow switching colors to red must be immediately addresed in their eyes.

I think this gets back to bottom line of why BYU nation is so confident this year is a win against Utah. The research and facts don’t point to anything showing substantial advantage. Even playing at home, wasn’t it there they got stomped 54-10…?? As one poster said earlier, if 54-10 doesn’t humble them then nothing will. And that’s not…[Read more]

Agree and disagree. Utah fans haven’t had something really exciting show up on the field offesnsively since the Mountain West. It’s never been truely embarrassing on the offensive side of the ball but there hasn’t been a year that the offense has out-performed the defense. We’re Iowa and Stanford tough on d but the PAC is an offensive…[Read more]

I think his potential very high but he might be in a difficult spot right now. With two seniors battling for the QB position and Jack Tuttle joining in a year, are we at risk of losing Huntley in how this year plays out?

This guy put the daggar in our heart last year and now he’ll be playing for us. Speaks a lot to respect for our program seeing that he could have gone anywhere and Utah was on his radar.
Makes me wonder what aspect was the selling point. A progam that has taken on talented and troubled athletes before and done well with them? Immediate ability…[Read more]

83-82 loss at Pauley. Only play once in the season. Fully realize I’m swinging for the moon here, but any chance anyone has a copy of that game? Would love to see Kuz and Ball in that game.

RedLine replied to the topic Previewing Utah Utes football in 2017 – Article in the forum Football 7 years, 4 months ago
Yeah, I didn’t agree with everything said. We’ve only been in the PAC a few years. Getting the top recruits in the state will come and is already upgraded. On recruiting against BYU, it’s a deadzone for NFL potential vs Utah, and lot of young kids locally that have CFB talent have only known Utah as a P5. Losing top talent to USC, Stanford, OSU,…[Read more]

RedLine replied to the topic What kind of defense would you like to see next year? in the forum Football 7 years, 4 months ago
Agree with you. Loss against Oregon was fault to our offense. And even when Oregon was shit for a season for a season in the W-L category, let there be no misuderstanding that their cupboards were not bare of high level offensive talent.

At the college level the talent and depth disparity on a team as a whole is very wide. This isn’t thier profession, most will never play again, some are still growing into their full body strength. I haven’t researched the sophistications of simulations today, but limited data and externalities raise accuracy concerns.
The amount of NFL drafts…[Read more]

RedLine replied to the topic Kuzma with 31 points tonight. Not too shabby. in the forum Basketball (Men) 7 years, 4 months ago
Some haters were calling him a ball hog. I thought Kuz took his chances and a made big impression for his time on court. Which is saying something stealing some lime light from The Lonzo.
