Well it’s about damn time! They are the state university of the state of New Jersey! Their excuse for sucking is a joke!

Did he play with Wilson last season? I don’t remember him. I love his size and speed though!

Love the size on this kid. Seems super bright too! If we can land Rock Olsen, we will have a decent OL class!

He is BYU’s color guy on their broadcasts now isn’t he?

I watched some of his highlights on Hudl and he is a huge kid but he tends to hold quite a bit. Hope he can clean that up this season. He will probably become a zoob anyway.

“Hello Utah” for the win! That would be absolutely hilarious! It wasn’t just Donny and Marie, it was the entire clan, including little Jimmy!

Rick replied to the topic Worst parts of the game day experience and how to fix them? in the forum Football 7 months, 1 week ago
The narrow concourses are a huge problem for me. Running more Trax trains before and after games would also help. Not having the trains wait and wait until they fill up completely to the max along with more trains would speed up pre and post game congestion. Or maybe stagger the train stops and have one on the east side of the stadium along…[Read more]

Rick replied to the topic Which away football atmosphere did you enjoy the most? in the forum Football 7 months, 2 weeks ago
Sugar Bowl #1, Notre Dame #2, first USC game in the Colosseum #3 because it said that “we have arrived.”
Worst: U of A, Cal, anything at Sam Boyd Stadium.

When has RB ever been a weak spot in a Utah offense? Someone will rise up as RB1 and we all know what Micah Bernard can do as RB2. My biggest concern is replacing Keaton Bills. I think he was a huge key to several of our wins last year.

Are the folks on here trying to convince us that this roster presented is better than last year’s? If so, I am not buying what you all are selling.

Rick replied to the topic Another one where Utah is on top, and BYU at the very bottom in the forum Football 7 months, 3 weeks ago
Colorado had 42 commits. Of course they are going to be ranked #1 but that is no measure of quality and I do not know how you coach a college football team that has basically turned it’s roster twice in two years. It is nonsensical.

Rick replied to the topic The 2019 defense was our best defense ever in the forum Football 7 months, 3 weeks ago
The 2008 team went undefeated and beat a top 5 Alabama team and two top ten teams in Oregon State and TCU. The 2019 team had as super weak non-conference schedule, lost to a mediocre USC team, lost to a decent Oregon team and then completely bombed in their bowl game vs. Texas. It will never be a top team in my book. You can say the 2008 team…[Read more]

Rick replied to the topic Kool-Aid anyone? in the forum Football 7 months, 4 weeks ago
The ’08 team put a lot of players into the NFL. I look at the D-Line of ’08 and this current team has no one at the talent level of Misi or Kruger. D Backfield with Sean Smith, Rojo and McCain is better than this year’s team by far. OL with Beadles, Taylor, Hensel, and Schlauderaff was also top notch. I would also take the ’08 WRs of Brooks,…[Read more]

Rick replied to the topic Statue of Responsibility??? in the forum Misc 8 months ago
Given all of the statue desecration that has gone on over the past 4 years with all of the various protests and violent mobs, I would prefer this money be spent on developing better substance abuse and housing programs for the homeless. We have real needs in this community and a statue that is supposed to remind us to do better vs. actually doing…[Read more]

What “Tourney” are you talking about? You are telling me that this team coming in is better than last year’s team? That is an insane position.

Rick replied to the topic Offseason food review: Dave’s Hot Chicken (Midvale) in the forum Misc 8 months, 1 week ago
You talking Gus’s in KC? Damn good fried chicken! I also prefer Dave’s Hot Chicken to the new Houston’s Hot Chicken. Dave’s is not as hot but way more flavorful and juicy. Houston’s is also quite pricey. I would have much preferred they kept Crack Shack.
