I don’t see it happening.  He has posted several “Ute” posts while on his mission.  He will be back in 2months(at least that’s what it looks like).  He won’t be in shape for spring ball, but he should be back in the summer.

They will be tough defensively and pretty disciplined overall.  He will need to hire a decent OC to have any success(sound familiar?).  I also think he could be a pretty solid recruiter, but too many unknowns at this point to know how well he might do.  He hasnt coached in almost 10 years so Ill be interested to see how he does.  I like the…[Read more]

Utah, Why are you defending him on this call?  I don’t want KW fired, but that was beyond a stupid timeout to take in that scenario.  He makes mistakes just like anyone else and this was one of them.  I agree with you pretty regularly, but youre being beyond an apologist in this scenario.

Bateman, not some overreaction from last night either.  We saw what we have in Williams last night, its the same player as we had last season.  He is a 50% completions QB and abandons the pocket way too early.  Give Bateman a chance to prove himself.  I wish Williams was the answer at QB while Huntley is out, but he clearly isnt.

#1 is so dumb.  If BYU was invited with us, great.  They weren’t and there is no way you turn down a P5 invite to appease the crazies in Provo.  We were fortunate and in reality nobody wants to deal with them.  They think they are a national brand and yet they are still waiting for an invite.  The delusion is strong in those fans.

Oline started off a little confused, but I think they played ok, especially on running plays.
