You can schedule down and still not play FCS.  Any MWC or cUSA team will on an average year still be a cake walk but not a discredit to the schedule.  Or a weak sister P5 team that at least gets us National exposure.  Playing Weber  or SUU gets us no recruiting and no TV exposure and no ranking.  We can still play easy without playing…

We really need to have Only 1 in state game a year, no FCS teams, and alternate between TDS and USU.  I’m fine never playing TDS again but realistically the arguments favor alternating between G5 opponents in state.

I missed that interview.  BTW my question isn’t intended to be negative.  I am just curious since I often hear the other coaches mentioned. 

Depends on the bowl game.  Would love to see everyone healthy enough to take some snaps but feeling plenty of love for the guys who just won us 3 great games in a row.

Or we lost Tuttle…a big ego kid who honestly couldn’t beat out two other 3 star QBs and who wasn’t nearly as good as his rep…maybe the coaches saw this and let him go before things got worse.  Don’t know.  Just know Shelly has won 3 in a row and we can now recruit again.

I think the reality is we sucked horribly for the first half but if it were an evil plan to destroy BYU then 

No one sane had any reason to reasonably think we were going to come back from that hole.  Same when they went up 27-7.  But we must have been living right on and off the field today 😬
miracles do happen.  But they are about half time adjustments and depth more than angel wings 😇 

He is a totally different kind of back.  So everything had to adjust around that.  But I agree.  He just seems more effective.  But UW is a whole different level of D so that’s a factor too.

Losing is one thing.  Embarrassing yourself costs ranking, recruits, and bowl seatings so this game mattered.  At least it should have even though we shouldn’t have to play it. 

They will see us as their bowl game.  We are better in every way but if we look pst them they will do what FCS teams do now and then…play up for a shocker.  So don’t look ahead.  Take care of business this week.  Never take the foot off the gas.

I think I’d fly out to find Larry Scott at that point and personally introduce his jimmy to my foot.   Hell No Vegas Bowl!

Healthy Huntley will keep his starting job but if he gets hurt or starts choking Shelly will be a bonified replacement I won’t feel stressed about.  Shelly just had two excellent starts.  I really like the kid.  Just don’t see the coaches skipping their senior if he’s winning and healthy.

What sucks is thinking I won’t be able to sleep now till the Ducks take care of our business for us.

Well congrats on a win that wouldn’t have been in doubt if they didn’t spend the 4th quarter imploding.   Still glad we don’t play them this year.  Hope they get a NY1 bowl game.  Us too for that matter 

Exactly wtf?  I watched it and they didn’t have a flag and CSU was celebrating and so I turned the channel….sad that the Aggies blew it (and they did)…but now they won?!?

The PAC wants ASU to win the finals for higher ratings.  Honestly the calls look so bogus it’s amazing.  PAC 12 is losing credibility across the country for our refs.  Time for Scott to hit the road.

That call was bought and paid for.  Seriously worst most deliberately wrong call I’ve seen in years.

The bleacher seats IMHO are where the real football experience happens.  Every time I’ve had a box seat I’ve felt like most people around me were more focused on chatting than on the game.  But oh well.

Same.  We have 5 seats in section 3 and have been there over 10 years because we actually liked our view and those around us. Hope it takes them a few years to start disrupting so by then I’ll be too old to climb the damn steps anyway =o/=
