All true things for me.

1. We would look terrible in ANY conference this year with what has happened.
2. I don’t like the B12 and it wasn’t my desired destination
3. The places I’d rather be either disappeared or didn’t want us
4. College FB is imploding due to $$, Realignment games, NIL, and transfers so it probably won’t matter in 5 years.

I like ISU. I hope they win the conference. I have no reason to think we are going to get in the way this week.

what I notice most is the energy and interaction with the team from these new QBs. Rose wasn’t just amped, he also shared it with his team mates. He was fully engaged with his teammates and trying to energize them. That’s what you need in a QB.

Cam and Brant were both studs. Amazing talents. But yes if 2022 had been the end I think our focus on rebuilding would have been dramatically more effective.

I have hated the late night games but if it were at 8:30 then when I give up all hope by halftime I could go to sleep.

As it is now I’ll have to watch the entire thing.

I have mixed feelings about this.

IW is not our worst qb of all time. He’s probably our youngest rawest True freshman we’ve been starting of all time though.

O-line is not getting it done but even when it does we don’t have a QB with field awareness. He’s a freshman still looking like a freshman. Maybe next year he’ll be better but right now every time they give him 5 seconds he is looking for 7 and that makes any Oline look bad.

My CFB viewing has been on a fairly steady decline for the last 5 years. I managed to watch about 1/2 of the TT ISU game and that was it yesterday. I remember 10-15 years ago I began watching Gameday and stayed planted till the late night ESPN game. I could watch 12 hours of FB and not blink. The more teams are composed of merc transfers and kids who see play time linked to NIL $ the more this will be true for us and every other team. here’s the funny/sad part. IF Cam were to come back…and did somehow become healthy and lead our team to a 10 win season or better next year. NIL and the transfer portal combined with the absurd conference realignments have killed the joy of this for many.
