Honestly don’t think I can remember a game where we weren’t down by 14+ where I watched Whitt just choose to leave the easy points on the field. It was baffling especially the second time.

But your assumption is that anyone else available would have won. It was a catch 22 for the coaches. Barnes had a horrid game. But its a total longshot that anyone else we had was going to actually be better at this point.

Maybe we all need to step way back and ask what the multibillion dollar business of athletics really has to do with universities at this point. What I hope and what I think aren’t in alignment. I hope for a 10 win season (It’s possible) but I’d bet on 8 win because the number of QBs coming back across the conference. 9 will make me plenty happy this year…and next year I am expecting better.
