Another big piece to USC struggles this year is their lack of turnover advantage. Last year they had an insane number of turnovers go in their favor, most attributed to luck, not defensive skill. John Wilner has pointed this out several times that when they came back to earth it it would change things significantly.

I live in Seattle and I am considering going. Most of those around me including my wife are Husky grads so that makes it interesting. If you buy tickets you should try for the sides in the 300 levels since that is covered. Rain is really likely and we are already having a wet year. Good luck.

How about a scenario where the rest of the pac grabs the top schools in the Mountain West. That might be slightly better than the Pac/MWC merger. But less preferable to the Big12, which I think is still likely.
