Surprused that we dropped a spot.

I’m surprised we didn’t fall further. I’ll take it!

The Oregon beat-downs were amazing, but I don’t think they were that good a team. When was the last time we beat a really good team?

We played better by our season-opening standards but nothing like a #7 team. I hope FL wins the SEC, but I wasn’t overly impressed outside of Richardson. I think they’ll go 0.5 in the SEC. Today’s outcome was very disheartening, but still wholeheartedly support this team. Go Utes!

This year’s team is far more talented and deep than the 2015 team, but can’t stop feeling anxious about tomorrow’s game. Obviously, this reflects more on me and my worrisome personality than our team or their capabilities.
How’s your mood on the eve of this gameday?

1) Formidable run game – I feel fairly confident about this one given the data from last season. 
2) Contain Anthony Richardson – He’s talented and a true dual-threat, but can also be erratic. Can we contain him? I’m 50/50 on this one.
3) No ST miscues – Least confident in this area, but hopefully it’s a non-factor.

I don’t know enough about Harlan, or his capacity to sway things in Utah’s favor when it comes to realignment. This is it. This is the X factor. This is the difference maker. The boys get it done for #22. I’m super-pumped. Can’t wait. Go Utes!!!

One blocked punt and a missed goal is a 7-10 swing. This would be huge if the game is close. Outside of Covey, there’s good reason to be skeptical of our STs. How do we overcome this?

Yes, everything this year is a bonus, and I’m trying to take things in stride, but it’s hard not to get consumed by all this. No matter the outcome, I’m still very proud of our team, but, for now, I’m feeling very nervous about Fri. What’re your coping tips? How’re you approaching this game?
