It was pretty pathetic to see half the stadium, especially the west seats, empty out half time. I sit in N25, where nearly everyone stayed the whole game, and IMO got to witness one of the coolest ute moments ever as Mr. Zack Moss ran into the record books, and finished off the sporks. Dress for the elements, show up early, cheer loud, and stay the whole game. I love this team, they leave it all out on the field, as a fan you should be able to stick out some rain. We live in Utah for hell’s sake.

Take Trax and Leave early to the game… visit the tailgate lot for a few adult beverages, or enter the stadium. The food trucks and concession stands open a couple hours before the game. If you are taking trax and leave an hour or less before the game.. (I’m coming from daybreak parkway station) it’s crazy busy. Keep in mind RES has a clear bag policy. Should be a good time beating up on the sporks, and showing what’s his name what could have been. Tyler is gonna have his sweet revenge.

I am guessing its mostly beaver fans that are still riding the high an actual conference win.. they have won 5 PAC games (including this year) since 2016.

      2016 3-6

      2017 0-9

      2018 1-8

      2019 1-1 (about to be 1-2)

The UBoyz need to show up and execute and limit mistakes on offense, and play the stingy defense we have all become accustomed to (minus the $C game), and they will cover easily. The UCLA defense would make the TDS look like world beaters.. we all know that’s a bunch of malarkey.

The only games that are of interest to me other than the U Boyz.
USC vs Washignton (Go Dawgs) Wash -10.5
Forks vs Cal (Go bears) Cal is -4.5
Since Utah does what we do.. we are now (like always) need to count on losses from other south members. If both games above go the way I want.. the good guys are right back in the thick of it

But that Denison @ Wabash is gonna be a “Barn burner” of a game

I couldn’t agree more with your post.. all week long, I read and heard about the lack of excitement for this game, which is asinine in my opinion. Utah football is my religion, so regardless of the opponent, weather, time of game… nothing beats game day at the RES, not to mention there are only SEVENISH home games each year, so the other 358 days each year are looking forward to these few games. It was disappointing to see the MUSS left at halftime. I was a member of the MUSS during the “lean” years in the PAC (2010- 2014) .. it was disappointing to see the stadium less than half full for the entirety of the 4th quarter. That being said, to say I’m f****** stoked for September 28th would be a gigantic understatement, the Utes need to take care of SC first (SC ain’t on the level of this Ute team)
I am going to enjoy every moment of this season, win or lose. This could be a special one. UTAH MAN AM I.

Definitely the forks, I don’t know if you recall the whole Jaeden Daniel’s fiasco or ASU knocking out Tyler, or ASU taking the Utes to the woodshed at RES the year before.. it was Tyler’s first game back from injury, and it was a must win.. ASU reminds me a lot of Air Force teams from the MWC days that the Utes would struggle with and have no business doing so… but especially the garbage I see from alot of the ASU fanbase .. check out the comments from the house of sparky article just 3 days ago.. https://www.houseofsparky.com/2019/8/9/20759522/asu-football-opponent-primer-utah-utes

Vickers has balled out so far this season, that can’t be argued.. see the TD from Saturday for proof.. but IMO he is not better than Brit Covey. Jon Wilner mentioned it recently.. the loss of Covey will be felt when the Utes are in a 3rd and long situation in the Washington game or some other game that could have the south title on the line.. normally this is Covey time, he is reliable to get open, get past the sticks and pick up the 1st down. Vickers is not there yet. The Utes will miss him, but he just isn’t the same. I’ve noticed it in person, I hope dude gets healthy so he can have a repeat of his freshman year. love me some Brit Covey.

Looks like it’s been pulled, I applaud WeAreSc for taking such quick action. Zoob doing Zoob things.. about as low as it gets, a 40 something trying to impact some young student athletes life.
